About Sarah Barker

Sarah Barker currently holds the position of Consultant Clinical Psychologist in Pain Management and manages a team of clinicians. Through 16 years of clinical experience in the NHS she has recognised the key role that patient support groups can play in relapse prevention. Sarah suggested financing a support group for patients to Guys and St Thomas’ charity Appeal’s committee; this proposal was accepted and PIPP was founded.

Having seen the big difference that patient support groups can make to peoples’ lives she is keen for PIPP to develop and grow, and become a self-sustaining group who are a valuable form of support and inspiration for ex-INPUT patients.
